Deon Viergutz serves as the Vice President of Cyber Solutions at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, an organization that delivers full spectrum multi-domain advanced cyber and electronic warfare solutions and services, for DoD, Intelligence, Homeland, and International customers.
From 1992 through 2006, he held various leadership positions in Lockheed Martin to include Corporate Strategy and Analysis where he led strategic initiatives in Logistics and Sustainment, Infromation Technology and Homeland Security. He served as Deputy Program Director for the US DRIS 2010 Census program, Director of Engineering, Program Manager for the 2001 United Kingdom Census, and supported Operations, Maintenance and Logistics for the Air Force Satellite Control Network and Space Launch Ranges.
Currently, Viergutz serves as the President of the Fort Meade Alliance Foundation and the Immediate Past President of the Fort Meade Alliance. He is a board member of the Fort Meade Alliance, the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education, and serves on the Cyber Council for the Intelligence & National Security Alliance (INSA).
Viergutz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of La Verne, California, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, University College. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1989-1992.
