
Director of Industry relationships, Chairman RAMOT & TAU VENTURE
Hagai Itkin is currently the Chairman of RAMOT – the Technology Transfer Office of Tel Aviv University (TAU), Chairman of TAU Ventures, and Director of Industry Relationships at TAU. He is also a Partner at I-NEXT Capital, an early-stage digital health venture capital fund, and serves as a consultant and board member for several private companies and VC firms.
In 2020, Itkin headed the National Command and Control Center for managing the COVID-19 crisis at the Israeli Ministry of Health. From 1987 to 2020, he held various senior positions in the Israeli public sector, including roles as Director of the Technological Department and Director of the Strategic Department, both in Israel and abroad.
Itkin’s academic background includes an MBA from Ben-Gurion University (2007–2010), a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Hebrew University (1996–1999), and participation in the Directors and Senior Executives Program at Tel Aviv University (2021).
Itkin volunteers as Chairman of Misholim, an NGO focused on therapeutic riding for people with special needs, and is involved with several nonprofits supporting youth at risk.
