Michael Bernat is a cybersecurity expert currently serving as the Head of Cyber Solutions Business Unit and Chief Technology Officer at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. With vast experience in computer and network security, he has been instrumental in leading national-level cybersecurity initiatives and establishing National Security Operations Centers (NSOCs). His career reflects a strong blend of technical proficiency and market-oriented strategies, particularly in product management and strategic planning.  Since January 2025, Michael has been directing Rafael's cyber security solutions and projects, managing large-scale business activities across multiple continents. He is responsible for future generation development, unit strategy, finance, operations, and quality, while also overseeing significant international collaborations.  In his concurrent role as Cyber CTO and Fellow Engineer at Rafael since January 2014, Michael has defined the company’s cyber technology roadmap and led impactful national cyber initiatives.
