Ryan Son is the Managing Director of Rakuten Symphony Singapore & Korea and the head of Rakuten Maritime, where he leads the launch and growth of cutting-edge maritime cybersecurity solutions. Before joining Rakuten, he founded and successfully exited a software startup that was later acquired by Rakuten. Earlier in his career, he worked at Google, where he helped scale innovative services in Asia, and also contributed to international projects at the United Nations.
