Dr. Dorit Dor is recognized globally as one of the foremost women in cyber. She is the Chief Technology Officer at Check Point Software Technologies, where she spearheads the company’s rocket initiatives. Since joining Check Point in 1995, Dr. Dor has held several pivotal roles within the company’s R&D organization, including Chief Product Officer. She has been instrumental in the company’s growth and has managed many successful product releases.
Dr. Dor is a prominent speaker on cybersecurity and frequently delivers keynotes at some of the world’s largest cybersecurity and technology conferences. Forbes Israel named her one of Israel’s most influential women for her leadership in one of the world’s leading tech industries. She is also a member of the World Economic Forum and the Global Future Councils.
In 1993, Dr. Dor was honored with the Israel National Defense Prize. In 2022, she chaired the national committee responsible for selecting the Israel Prize for Technology and Innovation. She holds a Ph.D. and M.S. degree in computer science from Tel Aviv University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. Her research on graph decomposition, median selection, and geometric pattern matching in d-dimensional space has been published in several influential scientific journals.
